A bit of a monster lunch today! Wasn't expecting the Falafel wrap to come with salad AND chips! Had to take half of it home.

The Dip n Flip burger is a beef or lamb patty with roast beef, onions, pickles, cheese, ketchup and a side of gravy.! Yes, gravy! Who doesn't love gravy?!

Brixton Village Grill, Brixton

Tiptoeing into Christmas lunch, dinner and drink territory... The first of many I'm sure. Brixton Village Grill, although a little nippy had a lovely atmosphere and huge portions of food priced very reasonably.

Another day, another Lobster. This time with Steak! Whoop! Surfing and Turfing on a Tuesday...

Lobster with the Ladies! Pretty small Lobster portion, but you can't really go wrong with Lobster and Fries.

Poulet Rouge, Balham

Oh my! I could've eaten these Dauphinoise Potatoes and Cauliflower Gratin as a complete meal without the fabulously crispy skinned rotisserie chicken, but it was a welcome addition. I chose to have both duck and chicken gravy, the duck won for me but the chicken was just as good.

Poulet Rouge is one of those local places that always gets it right.

My steak with a grilled vegetable skewer, fries and a side of halloumi was pretty nice, I was quite disappointed with the kids meal and the huge plates with very little on them that everything was served on.
