Kerb, Southbank

Kerb was on the Southbank this weekend.
Food, drink, nice weather what more could you ask for?

Apart from the DISASTER that struck whilst waiting in the queue for YouDoughnut (they lost their power) it was a fabulous day of eating, drinking and strolling.

Soft Shell Crab Burger with pickled cucumbers, coriander and saffron mayo.
Never had a Crab Burger before and I will never look back. It was crispy and soft and moist and juicy and crunchy and I want another one.

I have to admit that YouDoughnut were the reason I was at Kerb. Hot doughnuts, rolled in cinnamon and topped with salted caramel sauce... I'd travel to the ends of the earth for that. Luckily for me I only had to go to Southbank.

Usually a Chicken Burrito girl, but they'd run out, so beef it was, and boy am I reformed! Chicken who? Never looking back. It was seriously good.

As if doughnuts in salted caramel sauce wasn't enough, I stumbled across Batch Bakery. A Raspberry Brownie, topped with Sticky Toffee sauce and Cookie Dough! Cookie Dough! Mouth-gasm!

Can't wait for Kerb to return.
