Pho, Battersea


Friday Pho with the mini-one, it was her turn to choose. We've made the mistake previously of ordering individually, but neither of us even made it halfway, so now we share... And she usually eats more than me.
The Cha gio spring rolls are lighter than normal spring rolls and have a crispy but also slightly chewy pastryand comes with a choice of 2 different dips. But the Show Stopper, the dish that keeps me coming back to Pho is the Pho, Pho Tai Lan to be precise (flash fried steak with garlic). That massive bowl of beef broth, with noodles, beansprouts, steak and herbs, chilli flakes on the side is literally like a hug in a bowl. Perfect Winter Warmer, without the stodge you expect from comfort food.

It never fails to satisfy.
